IoT with Arduino Yun

Arduino Yun is one of the most powerful microcontroller boards produced by Arduino. After having toyed around the UNO, the entry level board, I made the jump and got this board that features a Linux based server based around the OpenWRT distro.

While it’s not going to replace a proper server, given the limited 400MHz CPU power and the 64MB of RAM (and that it’s not the intention), this product opens a whole set of opportunities for people who want to integrate “sensors” and custom-made hardware solutions to the web.
